Ashley Hand to be Published in Ploughshares

Ploughshares is pleased to announce that “Gas Stations of New Mexico” by Ashley Hand will be published in the Summer 2020 issue.

About the Issue
We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of our Summer 2020 issue. As guest-editor Celeste Ng writes in her introduction, “Stories are more than documentation: they are a portal in time, through which the moment in which the story was written can magically be in conversation with the moment in which the story is read. . . . The stories that follow will ask you: Do you still remember when the world was like this? Did you care? Is it still like this? Do you want it to be?” The Summer 2020 issue features prose by Charles Yu, Jamel Brinkley, Kaitlyn Greenidge, Karen Shepard, and others.
