"Little Music" by Ishion Hutchinson in Harper's Magazine

Ishion Hutchinson's poem, "Little Music," is featured in the January 2021 issue of Harper's Magazine:

"What a lot of little music can do?
The blind farmer Daylights in his cabbage
row, going crouched down between leafy skulls,
knows. He rises indifferent, far-gazing
as a fine haze disfigures the mountain..."

Ishion Hutchinson was born in Port Antonio, Jamaica. He is the author of two poetry collections: Far District and House of Lords and Commons. He is an associate professor of English and the Director of Creative Writing at Cornell University.
