Overview
Mai Mageed is a writer from Texas. She holds a B.A. from New York University, where she was a University Honors Scholar. Soon after, she earned a Fulbright Fellowship to work as an educator in Athens, Greece. As an MFA student at Cornell, she was an editor for EPOCH Magazine and received the Arthur Lynn Andrews Award for her fiction. As a writer, she is inspired by Wikipedia deep dives, public fights, and '80s Europop music.
