Overview
Mai Mageed is a writer from Texas. She received her BA from New York University, was a Fulbright Fellow in Athens, Greece, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Cornell University, where she was a three-time fiction prize winner. Her writing appears in Gulf Coast, The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Chestnut Review, and the Greensboro Review, where she was the winner of the Robert Watson Literary Prize. She now teaches Creative and Expository Writing at Cornell.
